ABOUT THE CRAFTY BAT
The Crafty Bat is a small shop selling unique handmade goth, punk, deathrock, and alternative products, many of which are one-of-a-kind or limited edition.
The Beginning
The Crafty Bat officially opened May 1st, 2014.

Originally created as a simple shop selling limited runs of custom t-shirts, the company expanded into other artistic offerings including paintings.

2017- 2019
Our online shop had a bit of a hiatus as we focused more on offline projects including murals, costuming/wardrobe, set-building, and live performances.

2020
In 2020, we returned as a limited clothing brand, before creating one of our biggest designs: the Bat Stand. We also began offering paper bats, stickers, decals, and other items.

(Small Bat Stand. We only stopped selling these because our local manufacturer closed their business, but we plan to bring them back eventually.)
2021
At the start of 2021 we designed the first iteration of our digital business cards: B@ Cards. Originally designed as wristbands, anklets, and garter belts, we made them for burlesque and drag performers, dancers, and SWers.

In March of 2021 we collaborated with Viva La Bombshell to design pasties, and their iconic TipTits were born!
(Just Tap to Tip! Available in many of their designs, as well as in non-pastie products as part of their Gratuity Glam Tip Wear line. I obviously love their bat ones!)
We also launched our publishing imprint Crafty Bat Books that year.
2023
In 2023 we played around with some new materials and created a limited run of acrylic jewelry and mirrors.

2024
In 2024, as part of our 10th anniversary, we offered another limited run of one of a kind jewelry, including a few handmade and custom metal bracelets.
(Our best-selling SINNER bracelet.)

We also launched the keychain version of our B@ Cards, as well as a limited run of Bat Bows, our keyfob wristlets.

2025
In 2025 we collaborated with occult YouTuber Billy Brujo to offer the first installment of his magickal diary and almanac, the Ephemerinomicon, with the second annual version released in 2026.

Currently
Since then we’ve been busy working on broader projects including directing, prop-making, sculptures, and other artistic creations.
The Crafty Bat is primarily one person, with occasional assistance from friends, partners, assistants, or other collaborators. All designs we offer are created by us, and either handmade by us or manufactured by people who are our friends or members of our community.
